Hi Friends!

It's been a busy past few weeks for Valerie Smith and Liberty

Pike.We've played shows in Ohio, Indiana,

Minnesota,Idaho,Montana,Missouri,Minnesota again and Wisconsin and

drivin' many a mile in between them.It's the tour that never ends and

I'm lovin' it.It was a thrill to hear our performance on XM Radio and

I want to send a big thank you out to Bob Seery for recording the show

and making it available online.

The band is gearing up for another tour of Europe that will take us

to Germany,Switzerland and the Netherlands before dropping us off in

Chicago just in time for Christmas.

But before we embark on that journey we'll stop in Marion VA on

November 15th to play the world famous Lincoln Theater and tape the

Song of The Mountains PBS T.V. show.The lineup for the show includes

Lou Reid and Carolina, featuring the legendary Bobby Hicks on

fiddle,as well as my old buddy Greg Cahill and his excellent band

Special Consensus.Should be fun!!
